Has anybody grown the Acer Little Princess in a container. If so how big does it grow ?

Keep out of windy situations too and don't be tempted to plant in a container that is narrow at the neck than it is further down, you'll find it difficult to repot the Acer if you do and may well have to break the pot.

I have 'Little Princess' and believe me it is little. The lady in the nursery next to me specialises in Acers, she's won gold at Chelsea 9 or 10 years running and she only uses liquid seaweed. I used it myself last year but might give the bonemeal and fish a go. Mine are all in pots with bark mulch. Thanks for the tip Bathgate.

Acer Little Princess is ideal for planters. It only grows to 5 feet. Choose a planter only slighty larger then the rootball and graduate accordingly. Fertilize with bonemeal & fish fertilizer and top with decoratve mulch to conserve moisture. Keep out of full sun.
