There's a rose called 'Dorothy Perkins'...otherwise, there are many plants with that name.

Look at this link and you can browse through the 34 plants that came up all called 'Dorothy'.

Hmm....Aloe dorotheae? No, that has orange flowers.... : )

I have no idea how many of the 34 plants have pink flowers, Tug. I hope that this guest has time to look at all the plants on the list and finds one that he/she likes.

I didn't go through that list - some might have blue, white or scarlet flowers!

Actually, that came from my own memory--probably heavier on cactus and succulents than the RHS site! I haven't checked the list yet, myself. I should: there may be there is something I can grow with my father's name.

It's a good system the RHS have. You might well find something with his name...Whether you can a) source it and b) grow it over there is another matter!
