I'm growing different sunflowers and cucumbers from seed which I did sow about 2 weeks ago, many look they are growing fine(green), however some are growing with a red stem as if something has gone wrong, maybe an infection? Can you tell me about it. I'm in England I keep them indoors

They do look like they need more light, though. Some direct sun would be nice, or an LED array within 20-25 cm.

Also, cold temperatures will cause seedlings to turn purple. Be sure to keep them in a warm place.

Your sunflowers are fine. They are different varieties. Darker stems means darker flowers. The green ones are the lighter colors - yellows, whites, etc. You'll have a nice display.
