Top one is Sorbaria sorbifolia possibly Sem. It is an absolutely appalling sucker producer.
Cannot see the second clearly enough to be sure.

Agree Sorbaria for the top one, the second one looks remarkably like Crinodendron 'Ada Hoffman', a large and vigorous shrub that likes rich, moist but well drained neutral to acid soil and a shadier situation - it does appear to have a label attached which should give you the name.
