I have a Icelandic beech that has blown over. Half of the roots have snapped. The tree is still healthy at the moment. Can it be saved or do let have to chop it down? It's a lovely tree.

Well you can try straightening it up, ensuring the roots are firmly in the ground, and stake it, but if half the roots have snapped off, you may find it dies or half of it dies. Keep it well watered during dry spells up till late autumn.
