Can anyone identify these insects on our fuchsias please, and tell us what, if anything, we should do with them? Thank you!

Answers
Yes, Ladybird larvae and you do aboslutely nothing with them. They are really good for your plant as they eat aphids and other sap-sucking insects. You can actually buy larvae for about £12:50 for a pack of 50!

ladybugs, helpers in the garden...they are on constant pest patrol.

later on you may find a reddy brown lump on the stems and they are the pupae of them. They are, as already said friends to us eating many insect pests.

They look like Seven-Spotted Ladybird larvae, too, rather than Harlequin Ladybirds, so they are doubly welcome.
