Top one is Sinocalycanthus chinensis. Never seen one with very many flowers though.

Thanks. It has more flowers this year than ever before. Only just noticed them too. Been hidden behind a Pyracantha in previous years, but we had to remove that so this is now in a more open position.
Still not sure what the other shrub is, Feel I ought to know, after all I planted the thing.

Second one I am informed and remember is Stephanandra incisa crispa. Label to the fore and hope they stay on this time.

Last one looks like Ribes sanguineum. Google it to find out white white one it is.

Sorry Scotsgran, but it definitely is the Stephanandra incisa. We have Ribes of all sorts of colours and the leaves are different, as is the flower.
