Could anyone I'D this please it's a seedling appeared in friends garden they have quite a few. We think it's wild orchid but the leaves don't seem to match with that. Many thanks

If you can, leave some for the bees, they love this type of snapdrogon flower, they are pretty and our wild flowers need all the help they can get!

If you do leave it be aware that it runs and spreads. It took me several years to get it all out of the veg plot.

Stachys sylvatica is extremely stinky and spreads widely by stolons (runners). It's very common in the wild, get rid of it in your garden!

On the plus side I did once use a leaf on a wound to see what happened and it healed quickly...

Or if you do like it grow in a pot to stop it spreading? Like you do for mint
