We have a small, slightly boggy area, north facing but getting afternoon and evening sun. We would like to put a climber there if possible. What can we plant there?

I agree with honeysuckle and perhaps try hydrangea petiolaris.
The honeysuckle will twine around most things but the hydrangea will need something for the aerial roots to cling to. My two do not seem to be damaging the brickwork and the roots get no sun -- just when the plants get above the height of the "shed" (aka summerhouse but turned into a junkyard).

Honeysuckle is a woodland plant so that might like it there. Anyone else agree?
