Good evening all! Could someone please tell me what this is? It has appeared after I've sprinkled a pkt of wild meadow seeds, to me it looks like a weed but maybe I'm insulting it, thank you.

It's a bit blurry, but I think it's Charlock, Sinapis arvensis. It is a wild flower, and belongs to the cabbage family.

Trying not to be too pedantic but aren't all wildflower meadow plants likely to be classified as weeds once brought into a tidy garden?

No, at least not in my view, but Charlock is a weed pure and simple wherever it is and would not be found in a wild flower collection.

Can't remember the name right now but, yes, a weed - dump in the compost.
