Good afternoon folks.
I'm asking for help again in identifying a plant. I've no idea if it's from seeds, a bulb or corm. It's possible it was planted last year so could be biennial but if anyone out there has a clue I'd be very grateful.
It has no smell, there's your first bit of help.

One of the many species of Sundrops, probably Oenothera missouriensis. It originally grows from seeds, but it is a hardy perennial, and can be propagated by division, cuttings, or layering the "runners".

It is an evening primrose. You've jogged my memory. There was a plant growing next to some houses which were being pulled down a few years ago and I had asked a workman to get me the plant purely because I liked it. Now I know I'll put a marker in the pot (in case the memory deserts me again lol)
Many thanks for helping.

They do tend to seed into the surrounding area so you may well always have one or two.

Halimium lasianthum 'Farrall' possibly. Or just one of the many varieties.
