Can anyone tell me the name of this houseplant, please. Photos show flowers and after flowering has finished. Thanks

Specifically "Dutch" Amaryllis--actually a hybrid of several species of Hippeastrum native to Central America.

You can keep it to flower again next year if you like. Ifyou need advice ask another question abut how to treat hippeastrums that have finished flowering. (No point writing it all out here if you don't want to bother!) You'll need somewhere lighter than that to keep it though.

Indeed, in order to flower again, it should have some direct morning sun. We grow them as a landscape plant in eastern exposures, here in the desert.
