No

Virtually all deciduous fruit trees prefer a neutral soil (pH of 7), though if the soil is slightly acid (say pH 6.5), they won't complain much. Both strongly acid and alkaline soils can problems. pH < 6.2, add lime or horticultural limestone to the soil. pH > 7.5, add organic matter and sulfur pastilles to the soil.
