Identification please.
On holiday in the south of France (she boasts!) we came across a lot of this shrub - by the roadside, in gardens - seemed to be everywhere. Really pretty and wondered what it was and if it would survive in the north of England.

It's a dwarf form of oleander. Sadly, too frost tender for all but the mildest areas of the UK, and subject to occasional damage there. It also needs a fair amount of heat and sun to bloom well.

Thanks for that. I rather suspected it would be too tender for "oop North"!

How do I say thanks?
