Hi we have grown chili peppers from seeds and have a lot growing but our question id why do we have red,purple and green chillies all growing on the same plants and if and when can we eat them thankk you

Ornamental chilis are edible, too, but they bite back! The ornamental varieties are among the hottest sold.

There are edible vaireties available with mulit coloured fruits on one plant 'Numex Twilight' beign one and if you brought them as actually edible chillis rather than ornamental, then i cant see why you cant eat them, but im not saying go ahead.
