Not now at the height of summer unless you can be sure of a week or two of steady rain or are prepared to water very regularly.
The best time would be early autumn when the days are cooler but the soil still warm. Your grass should have plenty of time to establish itself before winter and during winter the young plants will extend their root system ready to grow away in the spring. I'd suggest you start around mid September unless there is an Indian summer and late drought.
