Possibly too soon for it to bear? It should only have been allowed to let two or three grow to maturity this year in any case.Might have been still concentrating on establishing. Better luck next year.

I agree with Steragram. Your pear trees are too immature to support pears. They usually need to be 4 or 5 years old before they start producing.

Thanks . Actually forgot to say It is my , Friends , Pear tree. My own Conference tree is 40 yrs old & is still bearing good crops of pears . Very big this year and are blemish free
