CAN ANYONE NAME THIS FUZZY LITTLE ONE? I HAVE MOVED HIM ON, HE'S NO LONGER IN MY GARDEN. HE HAD ONE LITTLE BLACK SPECK ON HIS BACK AND SOME OF HIS WHITE FUZZ IS TURNING YELLOW. IS THIS ONE OF THE INSECTS THAT SOME BELIEVE WILL PREDICT WHAT TYPE OF WINTER WE WILL HAVE?

I think I may have found it. Try this website Diane.

You can refine the search by color and state etc.
I'll let you know what I got when you post what you think :-)

Apatalodes Torrefacta changes to a rather odd looking brown moth that looks as if it goes with leaf litter or bark background. Type in google caterpillar+white.
