And it looks to be pretty well established, Peonyrose.

It's not in my garden - I saw it in 'The Heather Nursery' in Dalnain Bridge last week but I think it must have grown over it's name tag! I had a good look round the sales benches but they only sell heathers.

All of which they now buy in Peonyrose...

It is sometimes available from garden centers but be aware that it can be invasive.

If it likes your garden it will grow like a weed. If it doesn't it wont grow no matter what you do. Friends in Aberdeen have it rampaging over their conifers... it must be half way to Stonehaven by now :-)

As MG says, in some gardens it just won't! I'm trying hard, and I had some flowers this year, but invasive? Nope.

Same in some of the beds at work, its rampaging through them also, yet as Sbg says, some people have great trouble getting it to grow. I know someone who hasn't got a clue about gardening and they planted it in heavy clay soil....thrives!!! People who try to plant it in organically rich soil in shade under shrubs etc, cannot get it it grow.

It's obviously fussy about who it associates with! LOL.

Maybe it should be renamed 'The Contrary Creeper'! :-)
