Campanula carpatica 'clips white'. Planted this a couple of months ago, clipped dead flowers so it flowered again then I come across this! Has it died completely? Thanks ;)

It isn't normal to deadhead this particular plant but I think in this case lack of water has lead to its demise. Where did you have in planted in the garden and what is your soil like?

It was planted in my rock garden, watered it in throughly just as our wet August started. Oh well, another one bites the dust!

Ok, it does look dead but don't dump it just yet. Trim off the dead stuff and leave it until next spring as there may still be some life in the roots. It isn't doing any harm at the moment.
