I thoroughly enjoy Gardeners World and wish it was throughout the year!
I bought two Cupressus Cashmiriana trees which got severe die back in the bad winter some years back which I replaced with a younger tree the following year! It is the most beautiful tree in my garden and has grown vigourously but each winter I worry and surround it with fleecy sleeping bags attached to tall rods for protection! but it has now outgrown these and am worried it may get damaged from the very cold weather! Do you have any experience of this tree and can you give me any advice!

Where are you in the UK Nunnc? I certainly hope you have a very large garden as Cupressus Cashmiriana, the national tree of Bhutan, will eventually reach 30 metres in height by ten in diameter, not a tree for a small garden! Unless you are somewhere exceptionally cold it shouldn't need wrapping up in winter, in fact, this is likely to cause more problems than leaving it exposed to the elements.

What part of the world are you in? Anywhere near the sea or a large body of water?
