Dailias, we had very bad storms here in North Wales last night, my dailias were decimated as I need the pots they are in, is it to early to lift them to put away until the spring when I could replant them maybe in the garden instead of pots, they are the most beautiful varieties so don’t want to loose them....

You can certainly lift them, but knock off excess soil, lay them on newspaper out of the rain, sideways, and allow the topgrowth to drop off on its own, then clean them up and store somewhere frost free over winter. Put them in sand or spent compost, anything that's dry, after you've cleaned them.
