H , we have recently moved house , there is a tree in our garden with brownish candlelike flowers , it has a really bendy trunk , sorry no photo .....any ideas ?

Rhus... Rhus typhina, common name stag's horn sumach...
I'm wondering why its got a 'bendy' trunk though! If it's that, although treelike, it should be small for a tree...

my first thought was Rhus too. bendy wonder if they meant curved as that fits .
