They should be ok as long as they are kept pretty dry. If a really hard frost is expected fleece would help but don't leave it on when it thaws. Rot through damp is the chief danger.

Better not to cut them back now - wait till spring to do that.

I always overwinter mine along a windowsill in a single-glazed conservatory/back porch. I give them minimum water and if the weather is really icy I prop newspapers behind the plants against the glass at night. They usually all survive.
