Nitrogen fertilizer would help them grow, however. They need full sun, as Bathgate says, and open, porous, gritty soil. At work, they keep volunteering in the sand bed we use to heel in bare root cactus. In pots, I have got the best growth and bloom using moderate amounts of a 3-1-2 proportioned fertilizer with micronutrients.

Merry Christmas, Jent!
Which of the 16 kinds of Seasol are you using? What does the Guaranteed Analysis say?

It is difficult to tell, Jent, since the Seasol company doesn't publish that product label, but it sounds like just plain seaweed extract, which has very little nutrient value--just a little potash, and even less micronutrients. It sounds like your Gazania is starving to death, especially since it is in a container, and can't go looking for dead bugs with its roots. I would add some fish emulsion to the Seasol, and use it about every 2-3 weeks.

What kind of fertilizer did you feed it? If it's nitrogen based, it will inhibit flowering. Give your plant a new start. Repot with new potting soil. Use fertilizer made for flowering plants. Keep the soil moist & give it full, straight on sun.
