Are plants a lot slower this year?
We have been to Rode hall & a lot of plants that were out last year are in early bud. Daffs. Christmas rose subdued & early flowering rhododendron/azaleas no where near the mark.

they are probably nearer to where they should be. Snowdrops were also known as 'Fair maids of February' as this was the month the majority do their thing.
last year we were all saying how advanced everything was haha. bitterly cold here at present. :o(

It's all down to how cold it is at this time of year - when its warmer, things blossom and leaf out earlier - when its colder, they're later, simple as that.
