Thanks for your Answer to my question, i have made a make shift Cloches,over them, keeping an eye on the weather forecast for frost.We might get one to night, time 20.15hrs.and sky clearer her in Manchester Temperature 8CEL.CUS.

Casaba Melons, Cat? If so, wait until the skins start to turn yellow, then gently roll the melons away from the vine--if they are ready, the stem will separate easily. It will be a race, though. If frost threatens, cut them and bring them indoors to soften a little--they won't get any sweeter, but they can get less astringent, and more fragrant. Good luck!
