My daughter in Australia has sent me this picture of a poorly plant. What is it, what to do with it. I thought it might be a Spathiphyllum which was overwatered, needed re potting and given more light but I'm not so sure about the name. I think it might be in their office at work. Any ideas?

Thank you. I shall contact her when it's a reasonable time of day - they're 11 hours ahead, and tell her.

yes it is. needs repotting into fresh compost. watered sparingly, growing with good light but not direct sunlight. all the dead leaves etc need removing and then it should recover. I rescued one like this from my daughter's uni flat. wasn't hers but it recovered and is in her new place.
