Any one got first hand experience with Astilbe & are vine weevil a major problem with them

I have lots that have been planted for 15 years. Never had any pest or slug problems.

I've grown astilbe in the ground for over 40 years and never had a problem with vine weevil. not so sure if they are a problem if the plants are in pots of compost though.
certainly its not a plant that's listed as a favourite food plant of vine weevil.
