Hello everyone, I'm going to be in the garden this next week and splitting a Knautia Macedonia perennial plant. It is in a sunny location, the soil a bit dry and poor but didn't flower last year. I'm wondering why not?

Thanks Sbg, I will try that...it's trebled in size, so spent its energy growing. Would you split it in the normal way?

that's odd as mine is in a similar site. perhaps put some granular feed down around the area it is in and see if a feed will help it flower.
