Leycesteria formosa - Pheasant Berry, I think.

Interesting. Are the leaves soft or glossy as i have a plant similar to the pics of that plant but the leaves are similar to holly leaves on mine but the plant in question are soft.

Yes agree leycesteria, seeds freely and is a right eye catcher when it gets going, can get very large which is good for this plant, but can be hard pruned and comes back wth vigour.
