I have a Helleborus 'argutifolius' which is looking a bit unhappy. It is a bed of full sun which probably isn't helping but should it be cut back now that it's flowering period is past? Brenda Burkitt

welcome to GoY :o)
One of mine is the same as the shade from the yew tree has gone as it died and has been removed. Cut the dead flowers off and the old tatty leaves. You should then get new leaves or the ones that have already started will get better. Full sun is not ideal but they will manage ok. Unless you have some where to move I wouldn't worry too much.
