I have several types of conifers, yet they are all in bud at this time as well, but not flowers, leaves. The new leaves will start bright green/blue then fade to its normal color. The flowers themselves are inconspicuous and I've never actually seen them. I do see the fruit which is very ornamental; blue juniper berries, purple pine cones or bright red yew berries.
That little pot is a death sentence for your tree. I suggest you plant it in the ground and now is the time to do it. Find a nice sunny place for it to live. You'll never be able to keep up with its ever-increasing demands until it becomes top-heavy & blows over in a storm.

I have had one for some time and although I keep potting it on it is getting too big and needs to be planted in the garden. Unfortunately, it will get enormous so I have had to give it to my niece who has a large garden.

yes, they do, though they don't look like flowers on other plants. Information and images in this blog here
