they will need time to build up new bulbs for next year. personally I leave mine in the ground and after about 4-6 weeks the foliage dies back and the bulbs remain underground. if you want to lift the bulbs then lift and put in a pot with compost and keep watered until the foliage dies back. you could put them in a pot out of sight if you don't want to see them.

The foliage is only just yellowing on ours. I would not dig them up at all or, if I did I would leave it for a few more weeks yet.
