Centranthus ruber, Red Valerian. Spreads like a weed!

yes it is but funnily enough I cant get it to take in my garden.

I think the old name for it is Livelong. And I can't get it to take in my garden either, Seaburn!

It seems to be fussy about where it will grow. Where its happy it grows in walls and rock crevices even very near the sea.

Pops up in any crevice in my garden, especially by the steps down from the patio where it looks very pretty. I have red and pink. Entirely self sown. Have to pull them up here and there but try to let them flower first.
