Identification please. Prolific weed or plant?
I’m sure I planted something each side of this path last year but label has disappeared. So this could either be a prolific weed or, maybe, a penstemon? Any thoughts?

the photos show penstemon. So a good garden worthy plant.
remember a weed is just a plant in the wrong place.
