My blackberry bush is teeming with small fruit but next year’s shoots are already 3 to 4 ft long which is unusual, should I be doing anything with these ? Difficult to spot but there are 3 on the left, 1 in the middle and 2 on the right.

As long as you get good fruit - that's the main thing!

Well if you took the advice to train last years shoots all to one side this is when you train the new ones to the other side. Otherwise tie them in where you can.
