are they under the leaves and a bit slimy? if so they are lily beetle larvae [a maggoty type critter] and the slime is their own faeces. pull them off and squash under foot.
if they are small shiny black pinhead sized beetles they are pollen beetles and don't do much harm. if anything else you will need to add a photo to this question.

If lily beetle larvae collect with damp tissue paper because they are really yucky! Did you see red beetles on the lilies earlier in the season? You need to remove those too.
