What is an AC room? Spider plants survive anywhere indoors. Asparagus ferns are easy to keep as a rule. I don't think they like it too hot & dry though.

Air Conditioned room? I don't grow this one, but I'm sure somebody here can answer your question. I know spider plant to be quite forgiving, but depends how cool you keep the room I suppose.

Neither of them likes hot dry air. I suppose they'd survive as long as it doesn't get hot in the room.
