I have 3 clematis that I bought as very small plants three years ago and repotted them into bigger containers. I now want to plant them in the ground. Would this be a good time to do it? They are:_ Daniel Deronda, Gypsy Queen, Etoile Violette, oh, and Prince Charles. I plan to grow them up metal obelisks among shrubs.

Ideal time as the soil is warm and certainly here, very moist.

Thanks SBG. I always get confused about autumn and spring planting. I must remember the advantage of warmer soil.
