Please can someone identify the tree that this flower was on. Tree stand about 10 feet high (2 metres) and was in the Limoges area of France. Photographed at beginning of August.

I think you will find these are the seeds looks simular to Apache Plume.

I'm sure it's a type of Albizia....I grew one in my garden a few years ago, when we lived in Northern Spain....I seem to remember the delicate leaves closed up as night fell too.

Albizia julibrissin, called Mimosa east of the Rockies, and Silk Tree west of the Rockies, here in the States.
