I know it is a chrysanthemum. the flowers are not much bigger than a 50p coin. it only had a label that said decorative plant!

I've had a look and chicane is a single and pink. this is semi double and a deep reddy/bronze. but thanks for the suggestion.

that is a possibility thank you. I will have a good look at some of the other websites later today. we are off on a motor bike ride this morning. its a bit murky but not too cold.

Enjoy. It's good to get out in the fresh air. To find those I just googled your description. I have a similar one that I bought a few years ago. It too was unnamed, from a supermarket.

it is quite a short one about 12-16" tall. I only have this one now. have had a few in the past but they get overgrown by other summer perennials and I always forget to keep them clear. this one is in a pot and gets put into a planter when it buds up.
