This very pretty little shrub has flowered for the first time this year and I have no idea what it is, thought maybe Hamamelis but the flowers on this are white. Any ideas please?

Thanks Seaburngirl, I hadn't thought of honeysuckle as it doesn't look like any of the others and has a very light perfume. I don't recall planting it - but as I recall very little these days that's no surprise!

Lonicera x purpusii 'Winter Beauty' would be my guess.

Thank you both very much - it certainly is a winter beauty so I'll look it up.

While we're on the subject of honeysuckle, would it work to grow a Winter flowering one in the same space as one that flowers in Summer?

as far as I am aware the winter ones are shrubs rather than the climbing ones of summer. but I may be wrong.
