Is it alright to trim Red Robin now? Thanks

Thank you Jimmy, I also have a large red robin which is a standard. I planted it last year and was keen to know when to prune etc.

I would wait until springtime. If you prune now and suddenly have a mild period before spring, then you will have encouraged the shrub to produce new soft shoots which will get burnt off if you have frosts later on.
