Heated propagator.....should I remove my seeds as soon as they have germinated? I use an electric propagator at this time of year to get some of my seeds germinated, but I`m never sure how long to leave them in there once they have germinated?

I remove mine when I see the first true leaves starting to form.

Thanks

it depends on what they are. if they are not hardy then I keep them in a little longer as my greenhouse is unheated. but on nice days I take the lid off and turn it off then re lid and heat on at night.

Doesn't the warmth & humidity lead to legginess if you don't move them fairly early?

not really as there is a high light level in the greenhouse and that prevents legginess. it also depends on what temperature they are at. my propagators have an changeable thermostat so I can alter the temperature if I need to.

How do I say thanks?
