have just purchased 100 Aubrieta Seeds, not sure where to put them, have put some in a pot, looks like they prefer brickwork

Funny, I started a few Aubrieta seeds myself. A few will go into hanging baskets. They like dry sandy soil from what I read. Brickwork, rock garden, xeriscape or growing on a garden wall seems to be what they prefer.They love to scramble.
