I thought geranium Roxanne was a bushy plant that keeps flowering all season, mine is rather straggly and in need of a haircut. Should it be like this or have I been sold a different plant ?

Heard on GQT yesterday, it will even grow up through a shrub if you let it

Round about now, you should be able to see new growth at the base in the centre of the plant - if so, cut all the straggly long growths off, back to that new growth - it will grow on and flower again. You can still cut it right back even if there's no sign of new growth, and that will encourage it to put out new, bushier stems.

« hello all found this in dads garden and have no clue what it is
Next question
It does straggle, or spread its beauty far and wide if you look at it another way... Its not a compact plant.
