Toadflax Brocade Moth?

Yes it certainly looks like it. I have had these in the garden before . the adult is brown noctuid moth. Calophasia lunula is its scientific name.

Thanks for the info, I have now looked it up, at least it’s not poisonous so I will let it be, it was on a flowering weed called
