Not a question, a solution I sincerely hope - but how on earth did I not see it before ?
There are chicken with chard/kale/spinach curries and I just lurve curries.
Can this really be the answer ? I hope so.

Thanks Sue, but is it really better ? Have looked carefully into it and it appears that both ways are good but cooked is actually better which I wouldn’t have thought of.

raw, soft leaves like spinach and kale are technically more nutritious than cooked, but it depends how well they're chewed.. dunno about you, but some missing back teeth means I find it difficult to chew salads thoroughly. Which is why I whizz them up in the blender instead and drink it... Things like cauliflower and broccoli are better briefly cooked, the absorption in the body is better...

Right B, thanks. What was I worried about ? I went vegan and cooked up a load of kale, a tin of chick peas, added onions and garlic then added them to the curry. No problem at all, the only thing I could taste was the curry. AND i went back for seconds !
I now have enough left for 3 days, after which I’ll try the chard.

Oh, jolly good - be interested to hear if it gives you heartburn... or maybe its just me that kale does that to!
