what is best way to add Horse shit to garden? As dry & chopped or as a wet slurry.

I should let it fester a bit first either in the sack or in the soil before doing any planting. A shovel does come in handy.

It needs to rot down for at least 6 months before you use it! If it's added to soil raw, and then you plant anything, the roots can be 'burnt'.
We have a bin, and we keep our in there...some gets added to the compost bin occasionally, it really accelerates the compost! I also mulch roses with it in the spring as well as Clematis, and dig it in where my sweet peas will go...but not unless it's rotted down.

some of the best stuff for gardens as horses are not fed growth promoting chemicals & artificial rubbish. We refer to it as F.Y.M ( farmyardmanure ) or Stable manure if your posh ;-)

Blimey, call a spade a spade, why don't you, lol! Usually referred to politely as "horse droppings". Or dung, faeces, excrement, ordure, there are many words you can use which don't count as swearing...

Mine has really rooted well in a bucket used some at the weekend
